Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently laid the foundation stone for the Kalki Dham Temple in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal district. The invitation for the event came from Acharya Pramod Krishnam, who was expelled from Congress due to anti-party remarks. The ceremony, attended by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and over 5000 individuals are present in the ceremony.

The temple, constructed by Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust, was inaugurated with PM Modi expressing confidence in its significance for the Indian faith. The event, coinciding with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s birth anniversary, saw the Prime Minister highlighting achievements with the blessings of saints and citizens.

Krishnam considered it a matter of pride, and Modi also inaugurated the proposed temple model. Earlier, expelled Congress leader Krishnam had met Modi, inviting him to the ceremony, emphasizing the Prime Minister’s divine blessings. Personalities like poet Kumar Vishwas and cricketers Mohammed Shami and Suresh Raina are expected to participate in the ceremony.

Who is Lord Kalki?

Kalki is the tenth and final incarnation of the Hindu god Vishnu, aiming to end the Kali Yuga and start the golden age of Satya Yuga. Depicted as a white horse rider with four arms carrying symbolic weapons, Kalki’s primary purpose is to demolish evil forces and establish dharma and peace on Earth. According to the Vishnu Purana, Kalki is foreseen to emerge when the world is full of chaos and injustice, being born in Sambhal. Highly significant in Hinduism, Kalki’s awaited arrival is anticipated to mark a transformative era of peace and prosperity.
